How to request account deletion

Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request - Montigo"

Include the following information so we can find your account quickly:
- Full name (as registered in the app)
- Email address used for login
- School name
- Which app you used (Crew or Parent)

What happens when you delete your account
๐ Permanently deleted within 30 days
- Your account credentials (name, email, phone)
- Your profile information and avatar
- App activity logs associated with your account
- Push notification tokens
๐ Retained for legal & child-safety compliance
- Historical attendance records (kept for 3 years for school audit)
- Trip pickup/drop-off records, anonymized after 30 days (timestamps retained for safety)
- Location data from completed trips, anonymized after 30 days
- Messages you sent that other accounts received (their copy stays in their inbox until they also delete)
Some operational data must be retained to comply with child-safety regulations and school transportation legal requirements. After the retention period, even this data is permanently deleted.

We process deletion requests within 7 business days and send a confirmation email when it's done.
