From Wheels to Montigo
It started with a single problem: school transport that depended too much on the driver's memory. When a driver called in sick or quit, schools scrambled. Routes lived in heads, not in any system. We built Wheels — a transport app that put the route in the app, so any driver could run any route confidently from day one.
But the schools we worked with kept asking for more. "Could we use this for attendance?" "Can parents message us through the app?" "Why can't we have one place for everything — observations, calendar, transport, messages?"
"We didn't need another transport app. We needed software that respected how a Montessori school actually works."
So Wheels became Montigo. Not a re-skin — a rebuild around the way schools actually run. Attendance, observations, parent comms, calendar, leave, transport — one platform, one login, one calm operating system for the whole school.
Montigo is a superset of Wheels. Every transport feature you knew is still there. We just added everything else a school director and Montessori guide actually needs.
