Montigo School · Crew app
VERSION 1.3 · JUNE 2026

What's new, and how to use it

Five additions on top of the transport app you already run. Everything below is grouped by who it's for, with the exact taps. Nothing you do today changes.

For admins & owners

Parent concerns inbox New

Parents can now raise a concern from their app. It lands in one inbox, you reply, and you close it when it's handled. No more concerns lost in a chat thread.

How to use
  1. Open Concerns from the home screen.
  2. Tap a concern to read it, type your reply, and send.
  3. When it's sorted, tap Close so it leaves the open list.

Check a finished trip New

Open any completed van run and see whether the van actually reached every stop. A quick way to confirm the route ran the way it should have.

How to use
  1. Go to Trips and pick a finished run.
  2. Scroll the stop list to see each stop and its time.

Special classes for activities New

Set up a group for an activity like dance or music, each with its own point of contact. The right guide gets the right parents' messages, without putting them in a regular class.

How to use
  1. Create the activity group and name it.
  2. Set the point of contact guide.
  3. Add the children who attend.

Set a stop by Google Maps link New

Paste a Google Maps link to drop a pickup or drop-off point exactly. No more dragging a pin around to guess the spot.

How to use
  1. In Google Maps, long-press the spot and tap Share → Copy link.
  2. In Montigo, open the child's stop and paste the link.
For guides & teachers

A simpler home, a cleaner profile Improved

The teacher home is calmer and gets you to the day faster. Each child's profile is tidier and easier to read at a glance.

Nothing moved that you rely on. The buttons you use are still where they were, with less around them.

You're the contact for your activity New

If you run a special activity group like dance or music, parents in that group reach you directly. Their concerns and messages come to the right guide, not the front desk.

For drivers & attendants

Run trips on iPhone now New

The full trip flow works on iPhone, not just Android. A short setup walks the driver through turning on location and alerts the first time, so the live map and parent notifications work from day one.

First-time setup
  1. Open the app and follow the permission walkthrough.
  2. Allow location so the van shows on the live map.
  3. Allow notifications so trip alerts reach parents.
Already driving on Android? Nothing changes for you. This just lets iPhone drivers join.
That's the whole release. Five things, no surprises.

The transport app keeps working exactly as it does today. These five are additions on top. If anything looks off after you update, tell us and we'll sort it the same day.
