A fresh look, and four new things

The whole app got a calmer, lighter design. On top of that, a few new ways to reach the school and stay on top of your child's day. Here's what changed and how to use it.

The big change

A whole new look Redesigned

Every screen got lighter and easier to read. Your home, your child's profile, the calendar, chats, attendance, and the login screen all moved to the new airy design. Same app, same place for everything. Just clearer.

Nothing moved out from under you. Everything you used before is still where it was, with more breathing room around it.
New things you can do

Ask the school New

Have a question or a worry? Raise it from the app and it goes straight to the right person. They reply, and you see when it's been handled and closed. No more wondering if your message reached anyone.

How to use
  1. Tap Ask the school from your home screen.
  2. Type your question and send.
  3. Watch for the reply, and see it marked closed when sorted.

Apply leave for today New

Child staying home? Mark leave for today in a couple of taps. The school and the van driver both know, so nobody waits at your gate.

How to use
  1. Open your child and tap Apply leave.
  2. Choose today and confirm.

Drop a suggestion New

An idea for the school? There's now a suggestion box right on your home screen. Quick to write, and it reaches the team.

Smarter notifications

Tap a notification, land in the right place Improved

Notifications now open the exact screen they're about, and if you have more than one child, the app switches to the right child for you. No more hunting after you tap.

Smoother under the hood
  • Links inside announcements are tappable now, however they're written.
  • The live van map is smoother and lighter on your battery during a trip.
  • Fixed a crash that could happen when leaving a chat.
  • Better behind-the-scenes error reporting, so we catch issues faster.
That's the update. Lighter, and a little more in your hands.

Update from your app store and you'll see the new look right away. If anything feels off, tell your school and it reaches us the same day.
